The RV, which was towing a Chevrolet HHR, was traveling East on Ohio 2 when another vehicle pulled in front of it, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol’s preliminary findings.
“The other vehicle sharply applied its brakes, causing the RV to press on its brakes and take evasive action,” Patrol Sgt. Joe Wentworth said. “The RV went off the road and overturned in the median.”
The other vehicle left the scene and Wentworth said their initial findings were based off statements given by witnesses to the crash. Traffic moved slowly on both sides of Ohio 2 as state troopers assessed the scene.
Wentworth said there didn’t seem to be any serious injuries from the crash and everyone involved was treated at the scene by emergency responders. A crane had to be used to right the RV before it could be towed away.
