Aubrey Rogers, 37, of the 11800 block of Chapin Road in Berlin Heights, was charged with two counts of child endangering and one count of domestic violence.
A man notified law enforcement at 6:24 p.m. Friday after a girl claimed she saw Rogers assault a boy, according to an Erie County Sheriff’s Office report.
Deputies met with the girl, who claimed Rogers picked up and threw a boy against a set of steps, the report states. The girl said she didn’t know what prompted the alleged assault.
The boy told deputies he asked Rogers if he could have a friend come over, and Rogers allegedly told him no and began to yell, according to the report. Then, while the boy was playing on a tablet, he said Rogers allegedly grabbed him by the arm, dragged him toward a staircase and pushed him onto the stairs.
The boy said his arm was in pain after being pushed, the report states.
Deputies found Rogers lying unconscious on the floor due to allegedly being intoxicated, according to the report. Rogers awoke before paramedics arrived and allegedly began swearing at deputies.
Rogers was taken to the Erie County jail, where she has since been released on her own recognizance.
