MILAN TOWNSHIP —  A Milan man is accused of shoving both his wife and daughter.

Authorities received a domestic violence complaint about 12:40 a.m. Saturday within the 11700 block of Kelley Road in Milan Township. Upon arriving at the scene, Erie County sheriff’s deputies spoke with a woman, who alleged her husband, Jason J. Scott, 37, became irate after losing his cellphone and also indicated Scott was intoxicated.

A related deputy’s report noted Scott “became combative at the home.” The woman, however, was initially reluctant to elaborate.

Then one of their children, a 17-year-old girl — the daughter of both Scott and the woman — gave an account of what reportedly happened. The girl said Scott pushed her to the ground and also shoved the woman. The woman verified Scott shoved her, according to the report.

After leaving the premises for a while, Scott returned with deputies still on scene. Authorities arrested Scott and charged him with three misdemeanors: two counts of domestic violence and child endangerment.

As of Tuesday afternoon, Scott had been released from the Erie County Jail.
