Cameron D. Watson, 32, of Mansfield, was driving a 2007 Volkswagen Jetta south on Ohio 13 at 10:29 p.m. when the vehicle traveled left of the center line and off the left side of the road, going about seven hundred feet before coming back onto the road and overturning, said troopers with the state Highway Patrol’s Norwalk post.
Watson was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle, troopers said. He sustained incapacitating injuries in the crash and was transported to MetroHealth Medical Center by a LifeFlight helicopter.
His car was removed from the scene by Wilcox Towing.
Alcohol and drug involvement are not suspected at this time. No charges have been filed yet as the crash remains under investigation.
