MADISON TOWNSHIP — The Fremont Highway Patrol Post is investigating a motorcycle crash that leaves a passenger seriously injured after she fell off the bike Tuesday.

The accident occurred at 7:06 p.m. May 1 when Gregory N. Bowser, 38, of Helena, was driving his copper-colored 2005 Harley Davidson on U.S. 6, just east of Towline Road 60 in Sandusky County.

Bowser was westbound on U.S. 6 when his passenger, Brandy J. Foos, 43, of Fremont, fell off the motorcycle. Foos was seriously injured and was transported by EMS to Saint Vincent’s Hospital where she is listed in serious condition.

Both Bowser and Foos were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
