Police seek help in locating suspect in August murder

COLUMBUS (TNS) — A Hilltop man is being sought by Columbus police on murder charges for a recent fatal shooting in his neighborhood.

Leonard Ardell Durham IV, 35, is considered to be “armed and dangerous,” police said.

Durham is accused of fatally shooting Devon Durr, 27, several times on a South Richardson Avenue sidewalk on the morning of Aug. 27. Police said the shooting occurred after an apparent dispute between the two.

Several witnesses identified Durham as the shooter, according to Franklin County Municipal Court records.

After the shooting, Durham was seen driving a cream-colored Cadillac away from the scene, police said.
