Huron County Treasurer Kathleen Schaffer has scheduled the off-site real-estate tax collection schedule for county residents.

Those times and sites are:

• July 1, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Wakeman village offices

• July 2, from 9 a.m. until noon at the New London village offices

• July 3, from 9 a.m. until noon at the Willard branch of the Enrichment Centers for Huron County

Pay with a check or money order; no debit/credit cards or cash will be accepted.
The tax bill must be presented at the time of payment or it will not be accepted.

The drive-thru, located behind the county offices building in Norwalk, has been closed permanently due renovations to the parking lot.

There is a secure night drop-box located inside the front door of the treasurer’s office, to the right. This is accessible 24/7.
The office is located at 16 E. Main St. in Norwalk.

Second half-property taxes are due by 4:30 p.m. July 12.
