Allen and Fritz engaged

NORWALK — Marissa Allen, of Norwalk, and Bryan Fritz, of Monroeville, have announced their engagement.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michele Allen and the late Mark Allen, of Norwalk. She graduated from St. Paul High School in 2013 and from Brown Mackie College in Findlay in 2015 with an associate’s degree in applied science for occupational therapy. In 2018 she graduated from Bowling Green State University with an associate’s degree in technical science. This year, Marissa graduated from Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing in Sandusky. She is currently employed at the Cleveland Clinic, working at the main campus in downtown Cleveland as a registered nurse in the specialized organ transplant unit. She also works at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk as an occupational therapy assistant. 

The groom-elect is the son of Rick and Beth Fritz, of Monroeville. He graduated from Monroeville High School in 2012, and Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s of science degree in adolescent to young adult education. This year, he graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a master’s of arts in political science. Bryan is currently employed at Plymouth High School as a social studies teacher.

The couple began dating Oct. 17, 2015. They got engaged Dec. 8, 2018. The wedding will be held Nov. 9 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Norwalk, followed by a reception for family and friends. They will be honeymooning to the Eastern Caribbean Islands.

The couple will begin their marriage living in Monroeville.
