Hipp is Norwalk Elks student of the month

Norwalk Elks No. 730 has named St. Paul High School senior Madelyn Hipp as the February student of the month.

Hipp is the daughter of Dan and Denise, of Norwalk.

Her achievements, awards, extra-curricular activities and community involvement include: National Honor Society (junior and senior years); academic letter (freshman through junior years); ACE Award (freshman through junior years); marching and pep bands (all four years); 2018 senior project St. Paul Dance-A-Thon; mock trial (all four years); altar server (all four years); Mass coordinator (junior and senior years); spring musical (sophomore through senior years); Kairos Team (junior and senior years); and German Club (freshman through junior years). She also was involved in the Kids Summer Feed Program, Color for Community and St. Paul Cemetery clean-up.

Hipp’s interests and hobbies include aviation, space travel, aerospace, baseball and hockey.

Upon graduation, she plans to attend Purdue University to study aeronautical engineering technology.
