BERLIN HEIGHTS — The Berlin Heights Kiwanis has named Edison High School senior Lexi Weyer as the November student of the month.

Weyer has been chosen for her contributions to EHS and the Berlin Heights and Milan communities. Her school activities, honors and extra-curricular activities include: National Honor Society vice president; debate team captain and policy debate state-qualifier; Spanish Honor Society; varsity tennis; class secretary; peer tutor; Buckeye Girls State representative; Math Club; Ohio Teen Ambassador board member; and tour guide at Edison’s Birthplace Museum. She also works as a hostess at Bob Evans.

Following her plan to double-major in political science and education, Weyer’s goal is to continue to law school and eventually practice criminal law. She is the daughter of Charles and Julie Weyer, of Milan.
