Norwalk Kiwanis honor Branum, Faley and Scheid

The Norwalk Kiwanis has named Norwalk High School seniors Nicole “Coley” Branum, Alyssa Faley and Ian Scheid as the students of the month for October.

Branum, the daughter of Don and Sheri, is captain of the soccer team, in National Honor Society and participates in Drug Free Clubs of America. She also is on the honor roll with a 4.21 GPA. Branum plans to attend the University of West Georgia to study accounting and play soccer.

Faley, the daughter of Andrew and Melissa, participates in varsity and competition cheerleading, is in band and the musicals. She is treasurer of the Huron County Youth Grant Council and in the National Honor Society. Faley is a cheerleading captain and homecoming queen. She plans to go to college and pursue nursing.

Ian Scheid, the son of Ken Scheid and Kelly Ross, is a three-time varsity letter-winner in football and track and is on the honor roll. He plans to attend college and eventually earn his doctorate of physical therapy.
