PUT-IN-BAY — The Norwalk Catholic School fourth-graders recently took a field trip to Put-in-Bay.

The students took a tour of the island and visited Lake Erie Islands Nature & Wildlife Center and visited Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial.

At the wildlife center, students worked through different stations learning about local wildlife and connecting it to fourth-grade standards. At the monument the students watched a historical video about the Battle of Lake Erie and the significant of the peace treaty. Then they went to the top of the monument.
