This marks the 60th year of dedicated service by school leader Chuck Lococo to Sandusky Central Catholic (SCCS) and St. Mary Central Catholic High (SMCC) schools.

Lococo has served as a coach and athletic director at both SCCS and SMCC.

“Chuck has been a wonderful partner for these 60 years. He loves our student-athletes and we are forever grateful for his service to our school and families,” SCCS President Geoff Palmer said.

Lococo is a graduate of SMCC and a member of the class of 1953. After spending time in the military, he returned home in 1958 and began coaching at SMCC. Soon after, Lococo became an athletic director, donating his time for more than 48 years.

“It is a blessing to have Chuck, his wife Judy and the Lococo family on our team,” Palmer said.
