MONROEVILLE — A student from Monroeville High School has been removed from school for the remainder of the year.

The student made comments that were of a disturbing nature and concerning to others, according to high school principal Jim Kaczor. “The parents of the students were informed immediately and took the student home,” he said.

The Monroeville Police Department was contacted and currently is handling the situation.
