Norwalk Elks honor Monroeville senior Hauler

Norwalk Elks No. 730 has named Monroeville High School senior Carson Hauler as the student of the month for December.

Hauler is the son of Aaron and Patty Hauler, of Norwalk.

Carson Hauler's achievements, extra-curricular activities and community involvement include membership in Teen Leadership Corps and the National Honor Society. He has been a full-time student at Bowling Green State University during his senior year. 

Hauler played varsity baseball. He received first-team, all-academic honors in the Firelands Conference and won a varsity baseball letter his junior year. He played junior varsity basketball from his freshman through junior years.

He participates in Monroeville Local Schools’ service-learning program by earning 10 hours of community service every year. Hauler is on track to be a four-year academic letter winner. He was invited to Buckeye Boys State and attended the Junior Project Leadership conference with other juniors from around the area. Hauler is in the top 10 academic students in his senior class.

He is employed at a local grocery store and enjoys sports, particularly watching and playing baseball.

Hauler plans on furthering his education after high school by going into the business field at BGSU.
