Braedyn Demuth finished in 27th in 13:53.74 to pace the Norwalk boys. Other top Norwalk finishers included Brennan Cain (31st, 13:58.93), Ethan Holstein (46th, 14:21.42), Spencer Colahan (52nd, 14:43.28), Bryan Sommers (53rd, 14:43.99), Joe Lyons (55th, 14:46.57), Kynan Sparks (56th, 14:46.90) and Ashton Coe (61st, 15:00.82).
In the girls middle school White division race, St. Paul’s Jillian McDonnell finished 20th in 14:43.16. Also for St. Paul, Emma Foltz was 45th (15:55.14).
In the boys White race, St. Paul’s Isaac Thimke was sixth overall in 11:58.75. He was followed by Gavin Ross (12th,12:14.66), Jack Dvorak (23rd, 13:06.5), Thomas Bocock (28th, 13:16.27), Nick Centa (30th, 13:20.54) and David Forrest (38th, 13:37.04).
In the Orange division girls race, Edison’s Peyton Facemire was seventh (13:36.10).
Also for Edison, Mary Anderson was 20th (14:32.66), followed by Ava Miller (32nd, 15:06.70), Haley Chaput (36th, 15:24.86) and Mallory Jamison (41st, 15:32.18).
Willard’s Tiana Tackett was 30th (15:04.97), followed by Maelyn Shaarda (35th, 15:23.86) and Carissa Metcalf (51st, 16:01.19).
In the boys Orange division race, the top area finisher was Edison’s Brock Tice, who was 16th (13:20.46). He was followed by teammates Aiden Drake (39th, 14:15.97) and Ben Bates (41st (14:26.28).
For Willard, Ivan Salas was 34th (14:01.24), followed by Sixtos Gonzalez (37th, 14:07.18) and William Gates (43rd (14:32.53).
