Two drug dealers face discretionary jail sentences during their three years of probation.

Adam N. James, 28, and Justin A. Morgan, 32, each were sentenced Thursday in Huron County Common Pleas Court. Each defendant separately has a 90-day jail sentence hanging over his head; their probation officers can impose part or all of the time without a hearing.

James, most recently of 13805 Riley Road, Milan, was fined $5,000. In early September, he pleaded guilty to aggravated trafficking in 3-methylfentanyl with a juvenile present in exchange for prosecutors dismissing a similar felony.

Morgan, most recently of 23 E. Main St., Apt. A, New London, was fined $500 and ordered to pay $100 in restitution for drug testing. In early September, he pleaded guilty to aggravated trafficking in 3-methylfentanyl. Judge Jim Conway had remanded him to the custody of the Huron County Sheriff’s Office to complete a 45-day jail sentence for a Norwalk Municipal Court conviction of possession of drug abuse instruments.
