A Willard man’s bond has been revoked in connection with an overdose at his home.

Shaun R. Niedermeier Jr., 30, of 1022 S. Myrtle Ave., has two drug cases pending in Huron County Common Pleas Court. He wore a striped jail uniform to Thursday’s hearing, which is used for inmates who have a positive drug screen.

Willard Fire & Rescue and the Willard Police Department responded to Niedermeier’s residence Monday. Huron County Prosecutor Daivia Kasper said authorities were there for the report of an overdose and they found Suboxone pills on Niedermeier that weren’t prescribed to him.

“He in fact was taken by Willard EMS to the hospital,” Kasper said.

Huron County Public Defender David Longo said he has read the police report, but other than that, he doesn’t have a lot of information about the case.

Two days before the overdose, a grand jury indicted Niedermeier on possession of Fentanyl in connection with a Feb. 8 incident. In a separate case, he goes to trial June 30 on two counts of trafficking in buprenorphine.
