MONROEVILLE — The Huron County Non-Food Bank has been serving residents of Huron County since 2007 by offering basic household necessities such as toilet paper, dish soap and shampoo to those in need.

Started by the Monroeville United Church of Christ, this ministry is supported by many area churches, organizations and individuals seeking to make a difference in the community.

Today, the Non-Food Bank serves nearly 200 households each month, giving away more than 3,000 non-food items.

The Non-Food Bank is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month at the Monroeville UCC, 29 Chapel St., Monroeville. For more information or to donate or volunteer, call 419-465-2165.
