Guests first receive a short ride in a heated caboose, then enjoy warm cocoa and cookies in the 1927 Nickel Plate Road Diner.
After the snack, Santa Claus will meet the passengers at the Monument Station at the museum, posing for pictures and taking gift requests. The gift shop also will be open.
All proceeds from this event support the nonprofit museum.
Tickets are available at the event from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 253 Southwest St., Bellevue.
The Holiday Train also was on the tracks last weekend.
