CLEVELAND — As a part of its grand finale held today, the Cleveland Auto Show awarded its grand prizes: two 24-month leases of a 2018 Buick Regal TourX and a 2018 GMC Terrain, the Official Giveaway Vehicles of the Show, donated by the Northern Ohio Buick GMC dealers.

Mark Davis of Akron took home a 24-month lease of the 2018 Buick Regal TourX, while Ken Gohlke of Akron took home the 24-month lease of the GMC Terrain.

“I’d like to congratulate our two winners and wish them the very best of luck with their new vehicles,” said Louis A. Vitantonio, president of the Cleveland Auto Show. “I’d also like to thank the Northern Ohio Buick GMC dealers for donating the leases of the two Official Giveaway Vehicles this year, which certainly added to the excitement of our Grand Finale of the Cleveland Auto Show.”

“My wife and I were actually looking to lease one of these after the Show,” said Mark Davis, 61, of Akron, who won a 24-month lease of a Buick Regal TourX. “It just felt right when my wife sat behind the wheel, and it has a lot of room, which we need because we have two dogs. It feels great to win.”

“I’ve never won anything major in all my life,” said Ken Gohlke, 71, of Akron, who celebrated his birthday the day before, and took home a 24-month lease of the 2018 GMC Terrain. “Everyone told me I had a chance to win, and here I did. I’d like to thank the Cleveland Auto Show.”

Both the Terrain and the Regal TourX are among the most exciting and innovative in the new Buick and GMC lineups. From the curb, the TourX has a new European design that rides a little higher off the road. Inside, the fit and finish are everything you would expect from Buick, but the TourX offers tons of cargo capacity, with more than 73 cubic feet behind the front seats with the rear seats folded down.

Redesigned for 2018, the GMC Terrain is the brand’s premium compact SUV, offering even greater refinement and versatility this year. Its all-new styling represents the next chapter of GMC’s design, evolving the brand’s signature with stronger, sharper and more sculpted elements. The new aerodynamic design also translates to better savings at the pump for this premium compact SUV.
