Pigmans celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

NORWALK — Patrick and Millie (Boes) Pigman, of Norwalk, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Pat and Millie are Norwalk natives.

They were married July 9, 1966 by the Rev. Norbert Howe at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Norwalk.

They are the parents of David Pigman, of Norwalk, Deb Sommers, of Norwalk, and Jill Pigman Stephens, of Rocky River.

They have six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pat, who is now retired, was a self-employed barber.

Millie, who is also retired, was a payroll manager at Norwalk Furniture.

They are celebrating with a dinner with their children and their spouses. 

They will also be taking a trip to Seattle and the San Juan Islands.

Pat and Millie grew up in the same neighborhood and started dating in high school.

They enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren and friends. They spend the winters in Florida. They also enjoy walking, gardening and cooking.
