Schibleys celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

MONROEVILLE — Richard and Juanita Schibley are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

Richard and the former Juanita Smith were married June 30, 1956 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroeville.

Richard served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War and worked as co-owner of the Sohio/BP Station & Drive Thru in Monroeville.

Juanita worked at the Faulhaber company making bicycle seats until she retired.

They lived in Monroeville for their entire married life until recently moving to Willard. They have 2 daughters Sheila (Dan) Hershiser and Linda (Gene) Weilnau both of Willard. They have grandchildren and great-grandchildren that they love to spend time with. They celebrated a blessing of their marriage by Fr. Ron Schock at the June 25 Mass.

Richard and Juanita will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary July 10 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Fr. Nardecchia hall in Willard from 1 to 4:30 p.m. with an open house. No gifts please.
